Our story

HappyBites began with a simple idea: breakfast should feel like dropping the needle on a favorite record. Instead of another beige box on the shelf, we wanted characters, artwork worth keeping, and a bowl that actually tastes like somebody cared.

Every box is a character with a story — DJ Grizz on Boom Bap Bites, Rasta Ray on Island Loops, Big Wheezy on West Coast Wheat, and Foxy Fresh on Golden Era O's. The back of each box carries a tracklist instead of a maze.

We work in small batches so flavors stay bright and the crunch stays loud. Boxes ship from our studio in Wisconsin, usually within one to two business days of your order.

We use real fruit purées, whole grains, and no artificial colors in our fruit rings. Full ingredient and allergen details live on the Ingredients & allergens page.

HappyBites is a solo shop. One person handles the recipes, the artwork, the packing tape, and the emails you get back. If something takes a little longer than a big brand would take, that's why — and it also means a real human reads every message.

The box art started with AI tools because that was the only way to get the crew out of my head and onto a box by myself. I'm slowly redrawing it by hand, panel by panel, so every drop looks a little more hand-made than the last. I'd rather tell you that straight than pretend otherwise.
